Maharashtra Horror: Man Kills Sister-in-Law, Two Nephews Over Land Dispute in Solapur
A shocking incident came to light where a man murdered his sister-in-law and two nephews following a family dispute. This incident occurred around 11:00 AM on Saturday in the village of Boramani situated along the Solapur-Hyderabad Highway. According to preliminary information, the deceased woman's husband had passed away. For the past few days, the woman and her brother-in-law had been constantly quarreling over a dispute regarding agricultural land.
This dispute had recently escalated to an extreme level, leading to frequent instances of physical assault and verbal abuse. In the early hours of Saturday morning, acting in a fit of rage, the brother-in-law murdered his sister-in-law and his two nephews. Upon receiving news of the incident, Police Inspector Rahul Deshpande of the Solapur Taluka Police Station arrived at the scene, where a large crowd of onlookers has gathered.
Meanwhile, on Monday in Salgaon village within the taluka, where an elderly woman who had gone to resolve a dispute between a husband and wife was stabbed to death by her own son and granddaughter. In connection with this case, a murder complaint has been registered at the Partur Police Station against the deceased woman's son and granddaughter. The deceased woman has been identified as Vasantabai Munja Thoke.
The complaint was lodged by Munja Tulshiram Thoke (59), a daily wage worker and resident of the village. His middle son, Anshiram Thoke, lived separately with his wife Kavita and their children. According to the complaint, the incident took place on April 25 at around 5:30 PM. When Munja Thoke returned home after work, he found an argument escalating between Anshiram and his wife Kavita. He, along with his wife Vasantabai, stepped in to defuse the situation.
The situation rapidly escalated into violence when Munja Thoke and Vasantabai witnessed Anshiram assaulting Kavita with a knife. As the elderly couple intervened, Anshiram's daughter allegedly incited him to kill Vasantabai, leading Anshiram to fatally stab his mother in the chest. Both Anshiram and his daughter then fled the scene. Vasantabai was rushed to the Government Hospital in Selu, where she was pronounced dead.The Partur Police have registered a murder case against Anshiram and his daughter, and a search operation and further investigation are underway.
