Maharashtra Road Accident: Speeding Car Overturns on Vasmat-Nanded Highway, 1 Killed

Hingoli: A serious car accident occurred on Thursday afternoon near Takalgaon on the Vasmat-Asegaon-Nanded road. One person died on the spot and four other youths were seriously injured when the speeding car veered off the road and overturned. All the people involved in the accident are residents of Vijayanagar area of ​​Nanded.

According to the information received, while the car was speeding towards Nanded from Vasmat, the driver lost control at Takalgaon Shivara and the car overturned on the side of the road. The impact was so severe that the car was literally crushed to pieces. In this, Ashish Bhaskare (age 45, resident of Vijayanagar, Nanded) died on the spot.

Four people, Nitesh Shankarrao Khandare (age 32), Siddhant Sopan Sangvikar (age 30), Anvesh Ashok Yedke (age 31) and Akash Amrutrao Dokne (age 25, all residents of Vijayanagar, Nanded), have been seriously injured in the accident. Upon receiving information about the incident, Assistant Police Inspector Gajanan Borate and Ambadas Vibhute of Vasmat Rural Police Station rushed to the spot along with a team.

With the help of local citizens, the police immediately admitted the injured to the Upazila Hospital of Vasmat. However, since the condition of all of them is very critical, they have been immediately shifted to the hospital in Nanded after primary treatment. This incident has spread mourning in the Vijayanagar area and Vasmat Rural Police is conducting further investigation.
