Maharashtra Road Tragedy: Two Killed in Head-On Collision Between Car and Two-Wheeler on Nanded-Kinwat Road
A tragic accident took place on Nanded-Kinwat road on Thursday afternoon in which two people died in head-on collision between a car and a two-wheeler near Pawana Pati. The accident is causing panic in the area. According to the information received, a two-wheeler and a car bearing number collided head-on near Pawana Pati at around 1 pm on Thursday.
The collision was so severe that the two-wheeler driver Gajanan Laxman Panchal (aged 35) died on the spot. Shankar Panditrao Sarje Deshmukh, who was with him, was seriously injured. He was immediately taken to Nanded for treatment, but unfortunately, he died on the way.
The car involved in the accident belongs to Talathi Prakash Laxman Totewad, and he was driving the car himself when the accident happened, sources have informed. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police immediately rushed to the spot. Former MLA Madhavrao Patil Jabalgaonkar also visited the spot and took the initiative to help.
Himayatnagar police have conducted a panchnama at the spot and sent the body to the rural hospital for autopsy.
