Maharashtra: Woman Killed by Husband and His Friend Over Suspicion of Her Character, Arrested

Vasai: Man and his friend arrested by Virar crime branch unit for allegedly murdering a 23-year-old woman. On March 21, the decomposed body of the woman was found in the Shiravali village limits along the Vajreshwari-Shirshad Road. As per the  Mira Bhayandar Vasai Virar Police, deceased woman identified as Madhubala alias Priyakumari Roshan Yadav, was originally from Uttar Pradesh and was suspected by her accused husband of having questionable character.

Accused killed his wife with the help of friend took her to the crime scene on a motorcycle, and brutally killed her by stabbing her with a sharp weapon. A postmortem revealed the woman was murdered by slitting her throat and inflicting blows to the head, leading to a case registration at Mandvi Police Station.

Examining over 500 CCTV footages and verifying missing women reports, Crime Branch Unit-3 tracked down and arrested two suspects.
