Maharashtra Zilla Parishad Election Results 2026 for 12 Districts, 125 Panchayat Samitis Today

Voting for 12 Zilla Parishads and 12 Panchayat Samitis across Maharashtra was held on Saturday, February 7. The voter turnout stood at 68.28%. Counting will take place today, February 9. Parbhani recorded the highest turnout at 74.89%, followed by Kolhapur at 74.45 percent and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 72.69 percent. Ratnagiri registered the lowest turnout at 55.79%.

A total of 7,438 candidates contested 731 Zilla Parishad seats and 1,462 Panchayat Samiti seats, with more than 2 crore eligible voters. The electorate included 1,06,33,269 men, 1,01,86,965 women and 468 voters from other categories. As many as 25,471 polling stations were set up, and around 1.28 lakh personnel were deployed for election duty.

Results for the 12 Zilla Parishads of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Kolhapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parbhani, Dharashiv and Latur, along with 125 Panchayat Samitis under them, will be declared today. Counting of votes will begin at 10 am.
