Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Thursday said the state is facing a vaccine shortage and demanded 40 lakh doses every week from the Centre. The Maharastra Health Minister added that according to the latest release order of vaccines by the Centre, Maharashtra was only given 7.5 lakh vaccine dosages. Several ministers in the Mahavikas Aghadi government have demanded that the Centre to supply the corona vaccine. Against this backdrop, Congress Maharashtra state president Nana Patole has demanded that the Union health minister should apologize to Maharashtra.

Coronavirus situaion has become worse in the state. In this situation, the state government is constantly asking the Centre for vaccines and financial assistance, said Nana Patole.
