The last few days have seen a huge increase in the number of corona case in Maharashtra. In such a situation, Health Minister Rajesh Tope has questioned the figures coming from other states.

Other states do not seem to provide accurate information on the daily number of corona victims, Tope said. He also said that the growing number of corona cases in the state was due to the negligence of the people and the increasing number of corona tests.

“It is likely that the exact number of coronaviruses in other states is not stated. All steps are being taken properly and transparently in Maharashtra. More than 75,000 people had come to watch a cricket match in Gujarat recently. I saw it myself on TV. It was also seen that no one was observing social distance during this crowd, "said Tope. Rajesh Tope commented on this during an exclusive interview with India Today.

At this time, Rajesh Tope also targeted the states that will be going under elections. If you look at the election rallies taking place in four states, the places are getting very crowded. No one is even seen wearing a mask. Seeing all this, it is doubtful whether these states report the correct number of coronavirus cases, Tope said. Tope, meanwhile, also warned the people of the state. If the people in the state do not follow the rules, the government will have no choice but to impose lockdown, he added.

"All district collectors and administration officials have been directed to take stern action against those who violate the rules on social discrimination and masks. The government is currently focusing on vaccination as soon as possible. We are vaccinating about 3 lakh people every day in the state. We are vaccinating 20-21 lakh people, "Tope said.
