Sushant's brother demands apology from Sanjay Raut over his comments on late actor's relationship with his father
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has said that he has sympathies for Sushant Singh Rajput’s father but there are “many things that will come to surface”. Raut, who is the associate editor of party’s editorial mouthpiece Saamana, said in an article that the Bollywood actor was not in good terms with his father KK Singh.
“It is true, how many times did Sushant go to Patna to meet his father? I have sympathy for his father but there are many things that will come to surface,” Raut said in his article in Saamana.
Raut also said a conspiracy was being planned against the Maharashtra government and said the Mumbai Police was trying its best to bring out the truth in the case.
Sushant Singh Rajput's cousin Neeraj Singh Bablu has responded to comments made by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and has issued a video statement wherein he has demanded an apology from the Sena MP.
He has condemned the statements made by Raut and asked him to act with sensitivity in the matter and apologize to the late actor's family, failing which he has hinted on legal retaliation.
"We thought that Sanjay Raut is a good politician but the statements made by him have been doing the rounds. This is a sensitive case backed by the entire nation. There is no question of any party of allies here. Amidst all this, instead of supporting the investigation, the shameful statements made by Sanjay Raut are shocking. His allegations against Sushant's father are in bad taste and we expect an apology from him. If he doesn't apologize, I will file a defamation case against him.", claimed Neeraj Bablu, Sushant's cousin.
