Heatwave in Mumbai? Mumbaikars React After Scorching Afternoon as Temperatures Rise in City
Mumbaikars are witnessing extreme climate conditions in the first week of March itself, as the afternoon temperature on Wednesday clocked 37 degrees Celsius. Streets and parks were seen as silent in the daytime and corporate workers avoided going out in the Sun.
After extreme climate conditions, netizens rush to social media sites asking whether the heatwave conditions in the city have prevailed. Several X users (formerly known as Twitter), reacted to sudden weather changes.
An X user said he felt like a "hot oven" when he went out of his office for a walk after lunch in Mumbai's Airoli area. He reported the temperature at 38°C with 16% humidity.
Did a post lunch walk in office campus at Airoli.
