Mumbai Mega Block on March 23, 2025: Local Train Services To Be Affected on Central, Western and Harbour Lines on Sunday

Mumbai Mega Block on Sunday, March 23, 2025: Commuters on the Western, Central, and Harbour lines will face major disruptions due to scheduled mega blocks for maintenance and infrastructure work. However, there will be no Mega Block on the Uran and Transharbour lines. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.

Central Line Mega Block Update

𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚 - 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟏.𝟑𝟎 𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟑.𝟑𝟎 𝐩𝐦

DN fast line services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.58 am to 3.10 pm will be diverted on DN slow line at Matunga station halting as per their respective halts between Matunga and Mulund stations and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. Fast trains beyond Thane will be re-diverted on DN fast line at Mulund station.

UP fast line services leaving Thane from 11.25 am to 3.27 pm will be diverted on UP slow line at Mulund station, halting as per their respective halts between between Mulund and Matunga stations and will be re-diverted on UP fast line at Matunga station and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

Harbour Line Mega Block Update

𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐚 - 𝐕𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐔𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟏.𝟏𝟎 𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟒.𝟏𝟎 𝐩𝐦

DOWN Harbour line services to Vashi /Belapur/Panvel departing CSMT from 10.34 am to 3.36 pm and UP Harbour line services for CSMT departing Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.16 am to 3.47 pm will remain cancelled.

However, Special services will run between CSMT-Kurla and Kurla - Panvel/Vashi during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Thane-Vashi / Nerul stations from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.

𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 - 𝐌𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐢 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟎:𝟑𝟓 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟎𝟑:𝟑𝟓 𝐏𝐌

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of five hours will be taken on UP & DOWN fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (local) station from 10:35 hrs to 15:35 hrs on Sunday, 23rd March, 2025. All fast line trains will be operated on slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (local).

Due to this, some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block and some Churchgate trains will be short terminated/reversed ex Bandra/Dadar station.
