Mumbai: Security Guard Stabbed to Death in Bandra Over Minor Dispute

In a shocking incident, a 56-year-old security guard was allegedly stabbed to death by an unidentified person in the Kherwadi area of Bandra East on Monday afternoon. The Kherwadi Police have registered a case of murder and launched a manhunt to trace the Accused.

The deceased has been identified as Abhinav Chaudhary (56), a native of Darbhanga in Bihar. He was employed as a security guard with a private company. The incident took place at around 2 pm while he was on duty.

According to police officials, the accused attacked Chaudhary with a knife, inflicting serious injuries on his neck and hands. He succumbed to his injuries shortly after the assault. The body has been sent to Bhabha Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the attack may have stemmed from a minor dispute. Police suspect that an argument broke out after Chaudhary allegedly did not respond to a mobile call, following which the accused assaulted him.

The incident occurred in front of the MHADA office in Kherwadi. Police have collected CCTV footage from the area and have reportedly identified the Accused .A search operation is currently underway to apprehend the suspect.
