Mumbai: A construction company booked for negligence after the tree from the company's construction site collapsed on a moving auto in Khar West. In this tragedy two people got injured. This incident occurred on Sunday May 10, 2026  in Khar West near an under-construction building on Linking Road.

As per the FPJ report, Police stated, the injured persons are undergoing treatment at Hinduja Hospital in Khar West and remain unconscious.  Police have launched an investigation, and more charges may be added to the FIR as the probe unfolds. According to the FIR, 19-year-old Manasvi Shrivastav from Malad East, along with her 15-year-old sister Arika and 21-year-old friend Harshata from Santacruz West, were traveling to Khar for a meal on May 10. While traveling from Santacruz to Bandra around 5:50 pm, a tree collapsed onto their auto-rickshaw near Linking Road in Khar West.

A tree from the construction site, where a new building was being erected, fell onto the road, seriously injuring Arika and Harshata, who both lost consciousness. Manasvi sustained contusions. The uninjured auto-rickshaw driver rushed them to Hinduja Hospital. Manasvi subsequently filed a complaint, and police registered a case under Section 125(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for endangering life or personal safety.
