Ayesha Dokadia from the Dokadia family in Mumbai’s Pydhonie has cleared the Maharashtra SSC Class 10 exam with 70% marks. The Maharashtra SSC results were declared on May 8. Ayesha, who was 16 years old, reportedly wanted to pursue a career in fashion design, according to the ABP Majha s report.

Ayesha and three members of her family died due to suspected poisoning on April 26 after allegedly consuming watermelon before going to bed. Mumbai Police are currently investigating the case to determine how the poison entered the bodies of all four family members and whether the deaths were accidental or a case of suicide.

In the Pydhonie deaths case, zinc phosphide was reportedly found in the bodies of the Dokadia family members. However, officials said the exact cause of death is yet to be medically confirmed.

Police will hand over the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report to experts at Sir JJ Hospital for detailed examination. A team of forensic experts and specialist doctors from various departments will study the report to determine the exact cause and nature of the deaths.

The medical team is expected to examine several factors, including the type of poisoning, symptoms experienced by the family members, the speed at which their condition deteriorated, and whether any pre-existing illnesses contributed to the deaths.

According to investigators, the Dokadia family consumed watermelon on the night of April 25. Soon after eating it, all four reportedly experienced vomiting, dizziness and stomach pain. Their condition worsened the following day.

Both daughters were later found unconscious and rushed to Sir JJ Hospital along with their parents. One of the girls was declared dead on arrival, while the second daughter died a few hours later. The parents also died shortly afterwards.
