Nagpur, April 29
The Wathoda police have arrested 16 accused, who were gambling on the roof of a house. Mobiles worth `1.5 lakh and `30 thousand cash have been recovered from them. ASI Battulal Pandey received information from constable Subhash that there is gambling happening at Nadeem alias Naddu’s house in Baba Farid Nagar.
The police team planned and raided the house. Police along with Nadeem alias Naddu held Shailesh Pramod Meshram, Roshan Ramesh More, Pawan Shankarrao Chakole, Nikhil Diliprao Gaekwad, Mohd Irshad Mohd Ayub, Lokesh Jagatram Baheshwar, Sheikh Imran Sheikh Aaron, Mohd Arshad, Mohd Ashraf Ansari, Kishore Muniraj Chavre, Prateek Arvind Chavre, Karan Sundarlal Sheskar, Mohd Nadeem Mohd Ibrahim, Rahul Raju Kawale, Hitesh Suryakant Sahara and Gaurav Shriram Manmode were involved in gambling. A case was registered under the Prevention of Gambling Act by they were taken into custody.
