Dhanvij claims NDCA rapid chess crown

Dhanvij secured highest seven points to win the title. Pratham Gupta (5.5, 27.5) finished runners-up whereas Maras Sahejveer (5.5, 26.5) secured third place. Vishwaditya Awasthi (5, 28), Mohak Bhagchandani (4.5, 30) and Ritvik Jaiswal (4.5, 30) achieved fourth to sixth place respectively.

In all 42 players including 32 ELO rated participated in this tournament. Total 7 rounds were played and total cash prizes of Rs. 6,300 were distributed among top 10 players and best veteran Player of the tournament. The prizes were distributed at the hands of chief arbiter IA Pravin Pantawane.
