More than 70000 infected patients have defeated Covid in Nagpur district, till now. The recovery rate has reached 85.15 per cent which is the best recovery rate so far. It indicates that slowly Covid is being controlled in Nagpur. It does not mean that people people forget their responsibilities. Wear mask, keep your hand sanitised frequently and keep a safe distance. This will help you in conquering Covid.
In the last two weeks, the number of recovered patients is more compared to number of infected. Till now, a total of 83105 infected patients were found in Nagpur district. Among them 70767 infected patients shave recovered. After a long gap, the number of active patients has come down to below 10000.
According to district administration, till now 56898 patients have recovered in city and 13869 have recovered in rural areas while there is 6428 active patients in city and 3228 in rural areas. On Tuesday 1425 patients have recovered. This includes 1133 from city and 292 from rural areas. The recovery rate had reached 82 per cent in Nagpur district in June. But after that infection has increased fast. In the beginning of August, the recovery rates had fallen to 41 per cent but later it improved. At the end of September it was 79 per cent but in october it improved fast in October.
898 new positive cases, 23 die
On Tuesday, in Nagpur district, 898 new infected patients were detected while 23 patients died. This includes 556 from the city, 337 from rural areas and 5 from outside the district. Among the deaths, 15 were from the city, 3 from rural areas and 5 from outside the district. So far, the total number of infected has been 83105 and the total number of deaths has been 2682. The deceased include 1949 from the city, 467 from rural and 266 from outside the district.
7785 samples examined
A total of 7785 samples were tested in Nagpur district on Tuesday. This includes 4513 from the city, 3272 from the rural areas. So far, a total of 4.87049 lakhs samples have been tested in the district. Today antigen test of 4556 samples was done, out of which 342 were positive. In the private lab, 395 samples out of 1421 were positive. 39 patients tested positive in AIIMS lab, one in GMCH lab, 67 in Mayo lab, 19 in MAFSU lab and 35 in NEERI lab.
