Nagpur, Oct 20

Many trains including Maharashtra Express which pass between Satara and Miraj have been cancelled up to October 25 as the bridge between these two cities caved in.

Meanwhile, Railway Administration is working on a war footing to restore the route between the twin cities.

Sources said due to heavy rains, a crack developed in the bridge, causing it to crash.

As a result Maharashtra Express number 01039 starting from Kolhapur has been cancelled up to October 23. Similarly, Puja Special with train number 01040 originating at Gondia has been cancelled upto October 25.
