Monsoon enters Vidarbha, drop in temperature

Although the Mrig Nakshatra is still two days away, the monsoon has reached in almost all the districts of Vidarbha. As a result, the night temperature has dropped along with the day temperature.
Nagpur received 0.3 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. The afternoon rain had an effect on the night temperature.
Humidity was 86 percent on Saturday morning due to drop in mercury at night. After 12 o’clock in the afternoon, it became very hot. However, in the evening, the humidity did not decrease much and was at 60 percent. The temperature in the city rose by 0.4 degrees Celsius to 37.2 degrees Celsius.
Even in Vidarbha, the temperature was low on Saturday. The lowest temperature was recorded in Buldhana at 33 degrees Celsius. In the last 24 hours, 20 mm of rain fell in Gondia. The temperature there was 35 degrees Celsius. Gadchiroli and Chandrapur received 9.1 and 8.2 mm of rainfall respectively. The mercury was at 35.2 and 36.4 degrees Celsius respectively. Wardha also received 0.3 mm of rainfall. The temperature there was at 37 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Akola was 36.8 degrees Celsius. It had received 0.3 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. In Yavatmal too, the mercury was at 36 degrees Celsius.
