The Corona positive cases are increasing in Narkhed tehsil and the patients are running from pillar to post for the treatment. However, the state government has given its nod to the facelift of Narkhed rural hospital. Accordingly, 30 oxygen beds and 60,000 litre capacity Oxygen tank will be made available immediately, informs former home minister Anil Deshmkh. Shortness of breath and fluctuating oxygen levels are among the major symptoms of Covid-19. Therefore to make oxygen beds available at Narkhed rural hospital, Anil Deshuukh convened a meeting at the district collector office. Collector Ravindra Thakre, district surgeon Dr Paturwar and PWD executive engineer Yerkhade attended the meeting.

The issue about required facilities at the rural hospital was discussed in the meeting. The district administration has sanctioned Rs 35 lakh for the required oxygen bets and other equipment. The district administration asked the PWD to start the work immediately
