The Six Star World Marathon Majors (WMM) introduced by the Abbott World Marathon Majors in 2016 are Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York City, recognised as the world’s most prestigious marathons. Completing all six earns runners the coveted Six Star Medal, a feat achieved by thousands, with over 80 nationalities represented every year. Over 23,000 runners have earned the prestigious medal as of March 2026 & Agrawal been one of 200th Indian to achieve these feet.

Addressing media persons at SJAN office Agrawal said, " Ever since I crossed the finish line at my first World Marathon Major in Berlin back in 2022, a dream took root in my heart to become a Six Star Finisher, and Tokyo was the grand finale. Tokyo, known as the toughest to get in, in World Marathon Majors circuit, stood as the ultimate test a race of emotions, and a finish line that feels impossibly far even as it comes into sight. The path to World Majors was anything but not easy with Berlin in 2022 with 3.40.51, London in 2023 with 4.01.47, Chicago & New York in 2024 with 3.39.13 & 3.48.16 respectively followed by Boston in 2025 with 3.42.53 timings. Each race after the pandemic demanded a fresh start, a rebuilding of strength, and the resilience to keep going despite setbacks".

Three and a half years after my journey began, I realized my dream at Tokyo finish Line on 1st March 2026. I became a Six Star Finisher at the Tokyo Marathon the first person from my city to achieve this feat".
