Nagpur, July 8

City cyclist Ravindra Tarare was declared best in online cycling competition jointly organised by Krida Bharti Yavatmal and Loknayak Bapuji Ane Mahila Mahavidyalaya from June 21 to 27.

Tarare achieved first place by cycling total 1350 kilometres in seven days. Yavatmal's Dr Vijay Jadhav secured second place with 937 kilometre and he was followed by Pune's Sagar Shirbhate (933 km).

The winners got trophies during the prize distribution function held at Mahila Mahavidyalaya. College secretary Chandrakant Ranade, Yavatmal Krida Bharti president Satish Phatak, principal Durgesh Kunte, senior cyclist Gajanan Mankar, Dr Sanjay Khalatkar, Sanjay Batwe and others were present on the occasion. While narrating his experiences Tarare said, " I could achieve this success only because strong determination, mental balance, consistency ad physical fitness".
