Ahmedabad Accident: Speeding AMTS Bus Hits 3 Vehicles Near Gota Bridge, Several Injured (Watch Video)

A tragic accident occurred near Gota Bridge in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, were AMTS bus hit 3 vehicles including a school van. In this incident at least 5–6 people were injured. Footage of this incident has surfaced on social media leaving netizens in shock. 

This accident occurred on 23, January, 2026 afternoon around 12:27 pm.  In footage it can be seen that bus coming in full speed hit mini truck, rickshaw standing next to it and school van coming from opposite direction. 

Following the accident bus  driver has been handed over to police who are investigating the matter further. This accident has left the concern about the road safety. 

In separate accident, three people died after private bus caught fire after colliding with a container lorry in Nandyal district. This incident occurred in early Thursday around 1:30 am. Bus was travelling from Nellore in Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad in Telangana when the right-side tyer suddenly busted. Due to sudden burst driver lost control and vehicle went across the road divider and crash into a container lorry coming from the opposite direction.

The impact of Collison between truck and bus was so strong that truck and bus engulfed in fire. Area residents, a bus cleaner, and the bus conductor broke the windows to rescue the trapped passengers. Due to sudden incident their was panic situation and their was significant traffic disruption for several hours.
