Four people were killed, and the other four were injured after a lorry collided with an auto in the Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday, April 29. After the news, the police team reached the spot and an investigation is underway.

Amalapuram Rural CI Veerababu said police immediately arrived at the spot and investigated. According to reports, the road accident took place at Bhatnavilli of Amalapuram rural mandal in Konaseema district.

The accident occurred when people were returning from Yanam  to Pasharlapudi after celebrating a birthday party. The deceased have been identified as Naveen (22), Jatin (26), Nalli Naveen (27) and Ajay (18). Police have identified the deceased as residents of Mamidikuduru Mandal.

Police have identified three of the deceased as residents of Konaseema District City City and one as a resident of P.Gannavaram Mandal Manepalli. The police suspected that the accident happened due to drunk driving. Further investigation is underway. More details are awaited
