New Delhi, March 1 A Congress delegation that visited the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital on Friday is likely to tour the other riot-hit areas on Monday to assess the damage. It will submit its report to party chief Sonia Gandhi.

While the Congress sought Home Minister's resignation for inaction during the violence, the party delegation also met the President and alleged that the "inaction" was deliberate.

Meanwhile, Robert Vadra, husband of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, wrote on Facebook that he is praying for the victims and peace.

"I visited a temple late evening to pray for peace & harmony in our country. We are a diverse nation with many faiths; we must respect each other, stay united and secular. The worst riots which gripped parts of the national capital have made permanent scars on many families. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families for their losses," read Vadra's Facebook post.

Violence erupted in northeast Delhi on February 23 after anti and pro-CAA groups clashed in Jafrabad. More than 40 people lost their lives while over 200 were injured in the one of the deadliest violence in the national capital.
