Ministry of Health and Family Welfare today confirmed total number of COVID19 cases in India has risen to 147 - comprising 122 Indian nationals and 25 foreign nationals (as on 18.03.2020 at 09:00 AM). 

Amid the virus outbreak people across the country have been taking precautions to prevent the spread of the disease. The health ministry has also announced that people should work from, avoid travelling and basically maintain social distancing. 

In Punjab the devotees visiting Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar are being checked for their temperature and are being provided with hand sanitisers, as precautionary measure to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
