Delhi Shocker: Dispute Between Neighbours Turns Violent in Sultanpuri; Police Rule Out Communal Angle
A minor dispute over use of rope for drying clothes escalated into an alleged assault between neighbours in Delhi's sultanpuri area. As per the information received, police received PCR call at Raj Park Police Station at around 8:47 PM on April 6, 2026. In the call, a woman alleged that her neighbour had physically assaulted her and torn her clothes during clash.
Following the acceleration acting on the complaint, police initiated necessary procedures and called both parties to the station. Later, the complainant, accompanied by her sister and mother, arrived at the police station to give her statement. Simultaneously, the opposing woman and her sister arrived, and both parties presented their side of the incident.
Police inquiry revealed, that a dispute between neighbours, escalating from a verbal argument to a physical confrontation, originated over a clothesline placed in front of one family's house. Police clarified that the matter is a personal dispute with no religious or communal element. Authorities assure that appropriate action will be taken according to the law after examining all aspects of the case.
