The coronavirus pandemic has not yet subsided fully and cases in the country continue to grow. Now that a new variant of the Coronavirus has surfaced, the worries of the government has increased. The central government has appealed to the people not to spread rumors in such a situation. Don't pay attention to the rumors about alpha, beta, gamma and delta variants of corona virus. The central government has said that people should pay attention to the basic protocol against coronavirus.

The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has tweeted in this regard from its Twitter Covid-19 handle. The tweet read,"Do NOT believe in rumours about any coronavirus variant - Alpha, Beta, Gamma, or Delta.Follow A-B-C-D of the fight against infodemic"✅A: Advise✅B: Believe✅C: Cross-check✅D: Do NOT promote fear

US top coronavirus adviser Dr Anthony Fauci recently characterised the Delta strain of COVID-19 as a "nasty variant". "It is very clear that this is a nasty variant. It has a much greater capacity of transmitting from person to person," Fauci said.
