FASTag Annual Pass Fee Hiked From April 1: Check New Price, Eligibility and Application Process

If you are frequently traveling on national highways in your car and utilize an annual toll pass, then the price of this passes are going to get more expensive. NHAI has hiked the price of annual toll pass and this will be implemented from the 1st April 2026, Vehicle owner who used to pay Rs 3000 for pass will not have to pay Rs  75 more. 

This new rates will be into effect for the financial year 2026-27 and pass is  available exclusively for private vehicles, and possessing an 'Active FASTag' in the vehicle is a mandatory to obtain it.

Toll crossing limit 200

Annual pass will remain valid for period of one year or max or you can take maximum 200 tolls. Important to note that if the validity of toll will expire before one year period due to crossing toll 200 times. NHAI issued directives to all toll plazas and concerned officials that this new rate will be implemented starting from April 1.  According to the government, toll rates are reviewed and revised annually. As part of this standard process, a marginal increase has been applied to the price of the annual pass this year.

Steps to Obtain Annual Toll Pass? 
Commuters who travel frequently on NHAI this annual pass is useful. 

• Go to NHAI website or app
• The prescribed fee for the annual pass must be paid online.
• Complete payment process 

Upon completion of the payment, this annual pass is linked to your FASTag, enabling you to travel through toll plazas without paying any additional charges.
