A heart-wrenching incident has came to light, which has left entire community in Palwal district in Haryana shock. The groom ended his life one day after his wedding night. As per the information provided by deceased's brother a serious altercation took place between the husband and wife on their wedding night; subsequently, some of the wife's friends began blackmailing and mentally harassing the husband over the phone.

According to reports, Omprakash a resident of Wali Mohammad Pur (Laharpur) in Palwal was married on April 29 to a young woman named Bhumika, a resident of Mathura (Shergarh) in Uttar Pradesh, in a ceremony conducted according to traditional rites. On April 30, the entire family returned home with the new bride, filled with immense joy and enthusiasm. That very night (April 30), arrangements were made within the home for the couple's wedding night. However, during this night, a heated argument erupted between Omprakash and Bhumika inside their room over some mysterious issue. Other women in the household clearly heard the sounds of the quarrel emanating from the room.

According to the complaint filed with the police by the deceased's brother, Jai Bhagwan, starting at 7:00 AM on May 1  the day following the wedding night Omprakash began receiving a barrage of continuous phone calls from four different numbers on his mobile phone. The callers were none other than the bride Bhumika's close friends: Ajay Nishad, Sanjeev, Narayan Singh, and Vedram. All four of them were threatening Omprakash over the phone, warning him to be prepared for dire consequences, while simultaneously attempting to blackmail and defame him. Tormented by the incessant threatening phone calls, Omprakash was completely shaken to the core and under immense mental strain. He immediately rushed to his father, Ashok, and recounted the entire ordeal, explaining, "Bhumika's friends are constantly calling and harassing me." His father tried his utmost to console and reassure his son. Meanwhile, when the family members questioned their daughter-in-law, Bhumika, she flatly lied, claiming, "Omprakash has not received any phone calls from anyone."

Driven to despair as the relentless harassment and barrage of threats from the accused showed no signs of ceasing, Omprakash made his way to Hodal Railway Station around noon on May 1st. There, he threw himself directly in front of an approaching high-speed train. He died on the spot after being struck by the powerful impact of the train. This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through both families. Acting on a complaint filed by the deceased's brother, the GRP police have now registered a named FIR against his wife Bhumika, along with Ajay, Sanjeev, Narayan, and Vedram, and have swiftly initiated further investigations.
