The European Union has relaxed travel restrictions under its Green Pass scheme. Therefore, the Government of India has appealed to the European Union to allow Indians who have been vaccinated with Covishield and Covaxin to travel to Europe. The European Union consists of 27 countries. ‘We will give exemption from compulsory quarantine to European citizens with green pass. But there is a condition for this. You have to approve Covishield and Covaxin, "India told the European Union.

India has requested the European Union to accept the vaccination certificate issued through the CoWin portal. The European Union's digital covid certificate scheme, the 'Green Pass' scheme, will come into effect on Thursday. Citizens can travel through this.
