Kerala Horror: Man Beaten to Death by Colleagues in Perumbavoor Over Phone Theft Suspicion

In a susception of theft an Assam native was beaten to death near Perumbavoor by his six work colleagues. This tragic incident occurred on Wednesday April 1 morning. According to PTI reports, deceased was trying to steal one of their phone, said police. 

Following the incident, an officer of Perumbavoor police all six accused have been taken into custody and are being questioned. As of now currently, they have not been formally arrested and a case is yet to be registered.  

In a disturbing incident in Sangli district, a 10-year-old girl reportedly lost her life after being subjected to torture by her father over suspicion of theft. Accused identified as Dadu alias Nana Yamgar a farmer, has been apprehended. As per the PTI, official said that, he allegedly hung his daughter upside down inside their house and kept her in that position throughout the night over suspicion of stealing money from a relative's place in Maharashtra's Sangli district.

Police further revealed that the man also subjected his 11-year-old elder daughter to similar abuse. She survived the ordeal and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. The incident came to light on Thursday after doctors in Atpadi taluka alerted the police about the death of the girl, identified as Rutuja.
