Madhya Pradesh Shocker: Stepmother Burns 5-Year-Old Child With Hot Spatula Over Bedwetting, Case Registered

A five-year-old boy was allegedly burned by his stepmother after he urinated on the bed in the Chachoda area of Guna district. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning.

According to TOI reports, the police have registered an FIR against the stepmother, identified as 44-year-old Razia Bano, following a complaint by the child’s grandmother. According to the complaint, the boy urinated in his sleep around 6 a.m., which led to Razia Bano’s violent response. She allegedly assaulted the child and inflicted burns on his hips, wrists, private parts, and chin using a hot spatula.

The child’s grandmother and father intervened and took him to the government hospital in Binaganj, where he was treated for multiple burn injuries. Police confirmed the boy’s injuries and have initiated legal action against Razia Bano.
