Shivpuri, April 27 Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday concluded a three-day visit to Shivpuri marked by an intensive focus on public grievance redressal, youth engagement, and infrastructure push, while rolling out development projects worth around Rs 200 crore aimed at accelerating the district’s overall growth.

During a public hearing held in the Kota area, Scindia addressed 782 applications, resolving several cases on the spot and directing officials to expedite pending matters.

He said that every application is being registered through a token-based system and linked to an online tracking mechanism to ensure transparency and timely resolution.

Issues related to Ayushman Cards, Below Poverty Line Cards, certificates, and welfare schemes were prominently taken up.

The public hearings were part of a broader exercise across Lukwasa, Bhonti, and Kota, during which over 3,000 citizens presented their grievances directly to the Union Minister and district officials.

Earlier in the day, Scindia interacted with meritorious students at the tourist village, felicitating achievers from Class 10 and Class 12, as well as from competitive examinations.

Encouraging them to aim higher, he said that today’s India is progressing rapidly and that they must fulfil their responsibilities towards their families and also contribute to nation-building.

He also highlighted that nearly 70 per cent of the toppers were girls, calling it a reflection of growing women's empowerment.

Addressing an event at the University Institute of Technology (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya) in Shivpuri, Scindia held discussions with students and reviewed campus facilities.

He proposed forming a strong student council and an alumni network to strengthen institutional development.

He said that by incorporating students’ suggestions, the institute will be developed into a top-notch college, adding that upcoming industrial projects would create opportunities for engineering students.

Reiterating his broader vision, Scindia said his efforts go beyond resolving grievances.

He noted that the aim is to ensure holistic development by creating opportunities for the youth and strengthening infrastructure.

The Union Minister also announced development works worth approximately Rs 200 crore, covering roads, schools, panchayats, and tehsil buildings.
