Trinamool Congress MP and actress Nusrat Jahan is expecting her first baby. A picture from the actress’s get-together with friends, in which she can be seen flaunting her baby bump, the picture has now gone viral on social media. In the photo, the actress can be seen dressed in white, flaunting her baby bump. Nusrat Jahan announced her separation with husband Nikhil Jain with a statement earlier this week.

In the statement that Nusrat shared, she alleged that her belongings, like family jewellery and other assets, have been "illegally held back". She also alleged that her "funds were mishandled" from various accounts without her knowledge. Nusrat divided her statement into seven points. Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain tied the knot on June 19, 2019, after dating for some time. They got married in a close-knit ceremony in Turkey and later hosted a wedding reception in Kolkata which was also attended by West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. Nikhil Jain when asked to comment on Nusrat's statement said on Wednesday said the matter is subjudice. "I have never commented or will not comment anything on what she has said. The matter is subjudice in court. The civil suit in courts is in process. They are doing their job well," Jain said.
