Power Cut in Delhi on March 3 and 4: Several Areas to Face Supply Disruption During Holi Festival; Check Timings

Several parts of Delhi will be facing power cut on March 3 and 4 for the maintenance work ahead of holi celebrations. Parts which will be affected by this power supply disruption in  South or West Delhi as BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) has released the complete schedule of maintenance shutdowns for March 3 and 4, 2026.

These power cut will be between 11 am and 2 pm. The department says it's important to complete this work before the main Holi festival to avoid any major faults on the day of the festival.

Tuesday, March 3, 11 am - 2 pm Outages:

• Saket & Malviya Nagar: Block C Shivalik, Bhavishya Nidhi Enclave (transformer repairs)
• Chhatarpur & Ghitorni: Chhatarpur Village (Block A1), Ghitorni Village, Asola Wildlife Sanctuary
• Najafgarh & Nawada: Rewala Khanpur, Khaira Village, Nawada Extension
• Janakpuri: Block C, Tihar Jail complex (maintenance, until noon)
• Hauz Khas & Sarita Vihar: Gautam Nagar, NCERT Campus, Sarita Vihar Pocket F (until 12:30 pm)
• Paschim Vihar: Mianwali Nagar (Block A-4)
• Mundka & Nangloi: Amar Colony, Inder Enclave (Paschim Vihar) (until noon)
• Dwarka Sector-19: Pocket-1, Bees Sutri Colony (until 2 pm)
• Kalkaji: H-Block Kalkaji (11:03 am - 1:03 pm)

Wednesday, March 4, Outages:

• Safdarjung Enclave & Green Park: Safdarjung Enclave Block B-4, Green Park Extension (pole damage, routine maintenance, until 2 pm)
• Sainik Farms & Pushp Vihar: Government quarters of Sainik Farms, Pushp Vihar Sector 4 (3 hours, preventive maintenance)
• Dera & Jaunpur Village: Dera Village, Jaunpur, Fatehpur Beri (starting 11 am)

BSES states these are routine shutdowns for replacing old transformers and cleaning feeder pillars, preventing breakdowns due to increased load. Residents in the BRPL area of Delhi should prepare for temporary 2-3 hour outages on March 3 and 4, 2026. Planning ahead minimizes inconvenience.
