Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on Friday held a press conference to inform about the corona crisis and vaccination campaign.

During the media interaction, Javadekar strongly responded to the criticism of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In addition, Javadekar has made a big statement about corona vaccination in the country. Javadekar has claimed that corona vaccination of all citizens in the country will be completed by December 2021.

"The country's prime minister is facing the Corona crisis together with the people. Rahul Gandhi is calling the efforts of the government a gimmick. His statement is an insult to the country and the people. We will not use such words.", said Prakash Javadekar.

Mr Javadekar drew Rahul Gandhi's attention to a Union Health Ministry "blueprint" that, he said, would ensure the vaccination of 108 crore people by December, and reminded him "India is the second-fastest in vaccinating its people"; over 20 crore doses have been administered so far.

While talking about corona vaccination in the country, Javadekar gave very important information.

"The vaccination drive in the country will be completed by December 2021. The Union Ministry of Health has submitted a roadmap for the production of doses of 216 crore doses till then," Javadekar said. More than 200 million people in the country have been vaccinated against corona so far. Meanwhile, the issue of corona vaccine shortage has also come up in several states. The central government has said vaccines will be available in large quantities soon.
