Karnataka Legislative Assembly adjourned after witnessing a ruckus on Friday, March 21. BJP MLAs entered the Well of the House and tore and threw papers before the Speaker's chair over a 'honey trapping' row. The BJP had demanded an inquiry by the CBI. The opposition BJP MLAs, including Leader of the Opposition (LoP) R Ashoka raised 'down, down' logans and overran the Well of the House. They claimed they had proof of various 'honey trap' attempts.

A video shared by the new agency ANI shows MLAs surrounding the speaker and taring and throwing papers. The video features Chief Minister Siddaramaiah seated in his chair, looking angry at the MLAs' actions.
Over the rucks, CM Siddaramaiah said that no one would be spared from the action if found guilty of 'honey trapping' state lawmakers. The Karnataka CM assured the Assembly that no one will be protected, saying, "there is no question of protecting anyone..."
The opposition lawmakers demanded an immediate response from the state government, including ordering an independent inquiry led by the judiciary in the case. CM Siddaramaiah said," Once a complaint is filed, then an inquiry will be done. There is no question of saving anyone. Already, Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara has ordered a high-level enquiry."
