Sonia Gandhi arrived here at the Red Fort’s Nav Shri Dharmik Leela Committee grounds.

Earlier, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and several other senior leaders greeted the nation on the occasion of Dussehra.

Vijay Dashmi, the day marks the victory of good over evil, as on this day, Lord Rama defeated demon king Ravana and Maa Durga won over Mahishasura.

After the nine days of Navratri, devotees of Maa Durga celebrate Dussehra with much pomp on the tenth day.
