Addressing the 'Divyang Adhikar Sammelan' in Patna, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav strongly criticized the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government for neglecting the concerns of Divyangs. He pointed out that despite 11 years of a "double-engine government" and 20 years of Nitish Kumar's rule, their issues remain unresolved. Yadav accused the government of inaction, reciting lines describing it as failing, the system as flawed, the Chief Minister as weary, and the Divyangs as suffering.

Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav reached Gardanibagh in Patna and extended his support to students. He also pressed their distinct demands. Tejashwi alleged Nitish Kumar of being in an 'unconscious state' and stated that the students' demands will not be fulfilled until the present government is in power. "I assure those who are protesting that we will raise your issues in the House. The government...the CM is 'unconscious'. He will not be able to name his departments. This is the truth. The only solution is to change the government. You will not get your rights till the time this government remains. What hopes could we have from someone unconscious?" Yadav, Leader of Opposition (LoP) Bihar Legislative Assembly, said.

Tejashwi Yadav further alleged the government for 'exploiting' workers, and they are also unable to even pay minimum wage to women workers employed with Anganwadi and ASHA. "When our government is formed, we will work to get justice for all of them," Yadav told reporters. "This government is exploiting women, cooks, self-help groups, Anganwadi, ASHA sisters. They are doing an injustice to them. Only Rs 1,600 per month. What will this do for them in this era of inflation? They are not even able to pay the minimum wage," he added.
