Telangana: Power Cut in Ameerpet on March 3, 2026; Check Timings and Affected Areas

Telangana: Ameerpet city will be facing power supply disruption in key commercial and residential areas of city today, Tuesday March 3, 2026. Power supply will be disrupted for few hours  due to maintenance works on feeders.

Greenlands ADE (CTD) L.V. Satyanarayana garu has disclosed the details to this extent. Due to maintenance works, there will be power cuts at different times in the area of ​​two main substations.

Janapriya Substation:  2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

There will be no power supply in the area of ​​this substation from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Areas affected: B.S. Puri Colony, Sultan Nagar, Kanthirav Nagar, Navraj Nagar, Netaji Nagar. Officials have asked residents and small businessmen in these areas to observe these two hours.

Maithrivanam Substation area: 3:30 pm to 6:30pm

Electricity will be cut off in the city's busiest Maithrivanam Substation area from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Affected areas include Aditya Enclave, Aditya Vindhya Block, Kummariguda, Imroz Hotel Lane, Anand Bazar Lane, Kings Corner, Kakatiya Mess, Delta Chambers, and the Ameerpet Main Road area.

Ameerpet is mainly a hub for coaching centres, hostels and business complexes. Due to power cuts, especially in the evenings, office work of IT training institutes is likely to be disrupted. Shops and hotels in the vicinity of the main road are advised to make advance arrangements.
