To increase economic activities and employment opportunities, the Centre plans to give some relaxations to various sectors in Unlock 4.

According to the sources, the government may give some more relaxations but its implementation in the respective states or Union Territories (UT) will be done on the basis of assessment conducted by state governments.

Delhi: - The government is likely to allow metro services in Delhi-NCR from September 1. The government is likely to bring contactless ticketing system and passengers will not be allowed to use tokens.

- According to the rules for travelling in Metro, alternate seating arrangements will be made for the passengers.

- Wearing face masks will be mandatory for the passengers. Violators will be fined and will also be returned from the station.

- Schools, colleges and other educational institutions are expected to remain shut during the Unlock 4.0.

- The Centre is expected to allow bars to serve liquor over the counter for takeaways. Hotels and restaurants have already been allowed in some parts of the country.

- Cinema halls will also remain shut.

Karnataka: 

- Karnataka government plans to start academic year through online classes for various degree colleges from September 1. The state government is also considering to start the offline classes from October 1.  - Karnataka government is likely to open cinema halls and allowing the sale of liquor in restaurants.

West Bengal: - In Unlock 4.0 the Bengal government will start domestic flights from coronavirus hotspots to land in Kolkata.

- The state will be under complete lockdown twice a week during the Unlock 4.0.

Mumbai: In Unlock 4.0 local trains are will not resume operations.

Chennai: In Unlock 4.0 restrictions on liquor shops and hotels may be eased in the city.
