Uttar Pradesh: Dashcam Records Car Ramming Into Bike, Knocks Motorcyclist Down in Bareilly; Video Goes Viral

A accident which caught on dash cam has surfaced, which shows white Toyota car ramming into a moving motorcycle on multi-lane road. This incident occurred near Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, which is going viral on social media. In the 47-second video, an SUV swerves left, striking a motorcycle and knocking the rider down, before veering right and stopping with front-end damage.

In the viral footage, motorcycle travelling at the steady speed when the Haryana registered car approaching from behind, appears to close in rapidly. According to dash cam, the incident occurred on February 23, 2026 at 3:57 pm.  An SUV drifted left, sideswiping a motorcycle. The rider was thrown off, and the motorcycle crashed into the car ahead.

The SUV then swerved sharply right and stopped. Social media users largely blamed the SUV driver for failing to maintain lane discipline and a safe following distance, speculating about possible distractions like mobile phone use, though unverified. Similarly their is no conformation about if their is action taken against the car.
