Navi Mumbai: Two Men Stab 32-Year-Old, Loot Cash in Panvel; Police Probe on
Navi Mumbai: A shocking incident of crime has came to light were two unidentified man allegedly stabbed a 32-year-old man and robbed of Rs 2, 400. This incident occurred near Tembhurde village in Panvel on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. In this victim Gautam Malhari Hake sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital. Khandeshwar police have registered a case and are searching for the accused.
According to FPJ reports police stated, Hake, a Pune resident, was walking near the Tembhurde village railway tracks around 8 am when two men approached him. One, described as short, lured Hake to a secluded, bushy area by claiming his brother had fainted and needed help.
While Hake attempted to help, the two accused individuals attacked him, one grabbing him while the other stole Rs 2,400. When Hake resisted, they stabbed him in the hand and chest with a knife, seriously injuring him before fleeing. Hake was taken to MGM Hospital for treatment.
Khandeshwar police recorded his statement and registered a case under Section 311 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 397 of the Indian Penal Code. A police officer stated that a manhunt is underway, with teams formed to quickly locate the accused, and that the investigation is ongoing under senior officials' supervision.
