Ghana qualify for their fifth FIFA World Cup

Accra, Oct 13 Ghana have completed their remarkable resurgence after failing to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations. The Black Stars have secured their place at the FIFA World Cup once again thanks to their 1-0 victory over Comoros to seal top spot in Group I.

In November 2024, the country was left stunned when Ghana failed to qualify for the continental finals for the first time since 2004. Despite widespread calls to resign, Otto Addo refused to stand down as a coach, FIFA reports.
