The highlight of the defensive display came via a 45-yard "pick-six" interception return by Uchenna Nwosu. The play was sparked by a heavy hit from Devon Witherspoon on Maye, which caused the ball to flutter into Nwosu's path. Initially ruled a forced fumble, officials later credited the play as a clean interception, extending Seattle’s lead to a distance from which the Patriots could not recover.
