The State Bank of India (SBI) has also reminded its customers time and again from the fraudsters.2 / 14The largest public sector bank in the country has recently taken to Twitter to advise its customers to refrain from sharing any sensitive details online or offline. 3 / 14It has also recommended against downloading any app from an unknown source. One must also beware of the fraudsters pretending to be calling from SBI, RBI, government offices, police, KYC authority to protect one's hard-earned money.4 / 14Recently, the tweet from the official Twitter handle of SBI said, 'We advise our customers to be alert of fraudsters and not to share any sensitive details online or download any app from an unknown source.'5 / 14One must not share your credentials like date of birth, debit card number, internet banking ID/ password , debit card pin, OTP and other personal details6 / 14One must be beware of the fraudsters pretending to be calling from SBI, RBI, government offices, police, KYC authority.7 / 14An SBI customer must not download any mobile app based on telephone calls/ emails from any unknown source.8 / 14On must not respond to unsolicited attractive offers received through emails, SMS and other social media.9 / 14The SBI customers must note that SBI or any of its representative never sends any email/SMS or calls you over phone to get your personal information, password or one time SMS (high security) password. 10 / 14Any such e-mail/SMS or phone call is an attempt to fraudulently withdraw money from your account through Internet Banking. One must not respond to such emails or phone calls and must report immediately at report.phishing@sbi.co.in.11 / 14To avoid from falling into the hands of the fraudsters, the SBI customers must keep the above-mentioned points in mind.12 / 14The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the deadline for linking PAN and Aadhaar till June 30, 2021. State Bank of India has informed about this from its Twitter account.13 / 14If you want to avail the services of the bank without any problem, you should link PAN and Aadhar card. The bank has instructed customers to link PAN and Aadhar cards.14 / 14If PAN and Aadhar card are not linked, PAN card may be blocked. You will not be able to make any transactions. Therefore, link PAN Aadhaar before June 30, the bank said.
