Cristiano Ronaldo replaces Lionel Messi as highest earning footballer in the world

Forbes has released a list of the highest-earning footballers in 2021. Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo tops the list with 125 million (Rs 922 crore). In second place is Argentina's Lionel Messi with 110 million.

Manchester United striker Ronaldo's earnings have increased this year compared to last year. Ronaldo had earned Rs 585 crore in 2020. This year, its revenue has increased by Rs 64 crore. Ronaldo's salary is 70 million. So he got 55 million from advertisements.

Lionel Messi's earnings fell this year after he left Barcelona to join Paris Saint-Germain. Last year, Messi earned Rs 924 crore. So this year he earned Rs 811 crore. Messi has a salary of 75 million, while he earns 35 million from advertising
