Royal Enfield electric bike range likely to debut in 2023, know about all details

Electric segments are seen growing rapidly in the Indian market. Even today, many companies are offering electric scooters and motorcycles.

Two-wheeler manufacturers like Hero Motocorp, Ather and BMW are set to launch their EVs in the coming months. Demand for scooters and motorcycles from many companies, including TVS and Bajaj, is on the rise in India.

Bullet maker Royal Enfield is all set to launch its electric bike. Discussions are being held on the range and features of electric bikes in the Indian market, manufacturing, and global bike market said Managing Director, Royal Enfield.

In August 2022, Vinod Dasari, CEO of Royal Enfield, confirmed the news. The Royal Enfield bike will be launched sometime in 2023. The company is conducting research in the UK.

The Royal Enfield Company has already built a prototype of the Royal Enfield electric bike and will soon begin production of the EV.

Royal Enfield's new electric bike can use a battery pack of 8 kW to 10 kW and will be connected to an electric motor. According to the current trends in the electric two-wheeler market, the power and peak torque of the bike are expected to be around 40 bhp and 100 Nm.

Although the design and features of Royal Enfield's new electric bike have not been announced yet, it is being speculated that it may be similar to the Bullet model.

Currently, there is a big competition in the electric scooter segment between TVS iCube and Bajaj Chetak electric scooter. In addition, Ether and other companies are trying to compete.
