Eknath Shinde staged an unprecedented rebellion in Shiv Sena along with 40 MLAs. After this, Eknath Shinde took a step further and directly claimed the Shiv Sena party. The Central Election Commission donated the Shiv Sena party and bow and arrow symbol to the Shinde group's parade.

After this, it is being said that the Central Election Commission is preparing to give a blow to Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party, a veteran leader of the country. Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena party and bow and arrow election symbols were withdrawn.

According to the information received, the Election Commission will soon review the national status of the Nationalist Congress Party. Therefore, it is being said that the national party status of NCP is in danger. Not just the Nationalists, but Mayawati's BSP also.

It is being said that the NCP has not followed the terms and conditions for getting the status of a national party. That is why the Election Commission is going to review this. Since the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the NCP has been fighting for national status.

However, at that time the Election Commission had taken a lenient policy. However, now, after two elections, the status of the national party of NCP will be reviewed by the Central Election Commission. Apart from NCP, BSP and CPI will also be removed from national party status.

Once a party gets national party status, the party's election symbol is recognized throughout the country. Space is available for party office in capital Delhi. Also during the election period public broadcasters get an opportunity to come on air. Therefore, the party has its say.

If the status of a party is withdrawn as a national party, that party cannot contest elections in the entire country on a single symbol. They have to contest on different symbols while contesting elections in each state.

Meanwhile, the Central Election Commission reviews political parties every ten years. This review is done to see whether a party is fit to be called a national party or not. This review was done every five years.
