Mahad Flood: Floods in Mahad region disrupt normal lives, see pics of devastation caused

Raigad and Ratnagiri have been hit by torrential rains for the last three days. In Mahad in Raigad, 10 to 12 feet of water had accumulated in many parts yesterday. Today, the water has receded and this catastrophic view of the damage caused by the floods is a clear indication of the situation in the area.

There was up to 10 feet of water in many places in Mahad. Several vehicles were swept away in the water. Many have suffered heavy losses.
